I wanted to title this post "2 Chia Cheats" but it doesn't feel right to align the power and goodness of the darling little chia seed with a negative feeling word like cheat. So, snack hack is what I went with, and honestly introducing chia to your diet with either of these methods is so simple, it really is a hack.
Quick and Easy Chia-Berry Jam & Chia Pudding Jars

Chia has many potential health benefits, but I use it in these recipes for clients who are looking for fiber rich ingredients. The easy berry jam and the chia pudding are great alternatives to high sugar snacks that will drain you.
6 things Chia does for you
Provides Antioxidants Rich in Omega 3's
Abundant in Essential Nutrients Great source of Fiber Supports Digestive Health May Decrease Inflammation
Chia Berry Jam
Making Chia Berry Jam is quick and easy. First, you'll need 1 cup of berries. I like to use either frozen raspberries or frozen wild blueberries. You can mix the two if you want. Place the berries in a pot and give a splash of water. Then place on stove top over medium heat. Break up the berries as they defrost in the pan. After the berries have defrosted and have become soft, set the heat to simmer until most of the liquid has evaporated. Remove from heat and stir in 2-3 tbs of chia seeds. Mix well and then divide into jars and refrigerate when cool. You can enjoy the jam as an addition to yogurt or parfaits, on toast, or you can top baked sweet potatoes with it. Enjoy!
Chia Pudding
This is another super easy chia recipe. I like this one because of how versatile it is. You'll need 1/2 cup of yogurt of choice. I prefer coconut yogurt. Mix the yogurt with 1/2 cup of plant milk of your choice. Almond milk or coconut milk work well with coconut yogurt. Mix 4 tbs of chia seeds into the milk/yogurt mixture. You can sweeten it with honey or maple syrup. You can also try a pinch of lime zest to compliment the coconut flavors. Spoon into jars, top with toasted coconut, refrigerate and get ready to enjoy a healthy fiberlicous snack.
It is that easy to make these tasty chia treats. Whether you are looking for a healthy dessert, a tasty snack, or you want more fiber in your life, these two methods can help you reach for something nutrient rich that will support your body. Fuel up the right way!
