If you enjoy smoothies, then I think you'll like these fun creations. I know I am always looking for fun new smoothie ideas and these two take the cake! Truly, they were inspired by cake.

I pulled together this Black Forest Smoothie yesterday because I was gifted with an abundance of cherries and I love the cherry + chocolate combo so I wanted to figure out how to pull that into a smoothie.
First, start with your yogurt of choice. I used a honey vanilla yogurt.
Add banana. Either fresh or frozen.
Add your cherries. I used fresh, but frozen would work too.
Pick your chocolate. I don't mind small bits of chocolate in a smoothie so I used a handful of Belgium dark that I had, but a tablespoon of cocoa powder would also work.
Flax seeds or chia seeds for a fiber boost.
Shredded coconut.
Plant milk of choice. I used extra creamy oat milk.

Carrot Cake Smoothie This carrot cake smoothie was born when I realized that I had some carrot juice that I needed to use up. I love carrot cake, but sadly I don't often get to enjoy it because I am allergic to cinnamon. So, creating this treat without cinnamon was a real highlight for me.
I used almond milk yogurt for a creamy base.
Carrot Juice
Frozen banana
1 tablespoon of flax seeds
1 tablespoon of shredded coconut
1 teaspoon of organic vanilla
If you can have cinnamon, a dash would make if feel really authentic. You could also try nutmeg. I didn't use either, and I was pleased with the creamy flavor.
I hope you enjoy these if you try them or make them your own!
Cheers!
